I may be a bit out of line here, I don't know if it is appropriate on this stage to present such an issue, as ~israel is not a politics related group, and neither am I(~Keynant) prone to dealing with such issue on a personal basis.

On the other hand, I think this is a big enough issue to recieve at least decent attention.

Saying this, I am a sceptic, and so should you be, in my opinion, when reading this. I have not checked whether the accusations presented in the following article are true, and I have not checked if the admins of deviantART are dealing with this issue.

קראתי את מה שכתבת בדף הראשי של הקהילה הישראלית בדיוויאנטארט, ורציתי להגיב.
אני אתחיל בכך שאגיד שהסוגייה שעולה היא מעניינת ודורשת דיון והתייחסות. עם זאת, אני חייב להודות שהקישור לדבריו של

קצת תמוה בעיני. מהכרות שטחית עם האומן אני מזהה אצלו הרבה קיצוניות. לא פעם יצא לי לפגוש עבודות שלו שבעיני, גובלות בהסתה אנטי ערבית. כמובן שמן הראוי שינתן לו חופש הביטוי גם ביצירותיו וגם בדבריו (הגם הם מעט לוחמניים מדי לטעם האישי שלי, אבל אני חושב שהעמוד של הקהילה הישראלית הוא לא המקום לתת לדברים שלו במה. מילא אם רק היו מוגזמים או רגשיים, אבל מדובר בהטחת האשמות מאוד כבדות של אנטישמיות, כשהרוב המוחלט של העבודות-לדוגמה שמופיעות בכלל עוסקות בסכסוך הישראלי-פלסטיני, וכלל לא ביהדות. ישנן אפילו יצירות שתומכות בשלום. מסקירה קצרה נראה שאותה גישה תוקפנית ויצרית לעבודות מונעת מלהבחין במסרים מקשרים ומקרבים שקיימים ביצירות מסוימות. לכן צרם לי פרסום הקישור לכתבתו, שכאילו מנסה למנוע את אותו חופש ביטוי שהוא ואחרים נהנים ממנו ביצירותיהם, שלעיתים מותחות את גבול הפוגענות, מאומנים שאינם שותפים לדעתו האישית.
חבל להשתמש בבמה הזו שפונה לקהילת האומנים הישראלים באתר עם מסרים של שנאה ותקיפה, במקום לנצל את ההזמנות שאתר כלל עולמי כזה מציע לתקשורת ודיאלוג.

I can't say that I totally agree with what was said, but I don't disagree. I had a hard time both deciding if this journal was appropriate for this kind of articles, and if I, as an admin, agree with what being said in the article.

The answer to the sender and to all to whom it may concern, is this:
I don't know. I never looked at the writer's work, neither other people's work on that matter. I do believe on the other hand, that publishing such an article, will eventually start the kind of discussion which talks about such a matter, be it on a public level in the journal or forums, on a personal level between deviants in notes, and even a reflection between the deviant and himself.
I think that such issues, no matter if they hold the entire truth or nothing but an empty shell should be discussed or at least noted.

I presented what john-doe wrote me, because I wanted to present the other side, to maybe insipre the discussion within.
